Hi,

I am Riina Löija, Gordon setter breeder for Northern Finland, Oulu. My family consists of a horse and three Gordon setters.  Dogs and horses are my loved hobby and actually a life style.

My childhood dream own dog, golden retriever Juno-Juhekin Robert came true in spring 1994. Roope was loved by whole family. Roope went to Rainbow bridge in 2003.

First Gordon setter came in 2002 for Linturannan Kennel.  In may 2005 my dream of second Gordon setter came true. After almost a year of waiting I picked up a puppy from Showpoint kennel. Showpoint Do It Again aka Lola is my first show dog and among Lola I got interested of shows and breeding.

My breeding is very small and in it’s beginnings. I don’t have kennel premises and dogs live with me in a house as family members. My purpose is to breed  healthy, good temper Gordon setters according to breed standards. Each litter is well considered.

I want to thank Pirjo Huovila from Showpoint Kennel and Minna Törölä (Kingpoint Contradiction&co) all the advices and help. Thank you also all my lovely friends from all over the world which I have got privilege to know via my hobbies.
